Location : Oneida, NY 13421 (Central New York healthcare jobs)

Setting : Emergency Room (ER)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Duration : 8 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1960 - $2100

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Flu Vaccine declination accepted with approved medical or religious exemption (mask required if declined)

Applicants who have left this healthcare organization within the past 5 years are not eligible

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols

Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions as ordered

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members

Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and clinical progress

Respond rapidly to emergencies and provide advanced critical care

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
