About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory Therapy

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 hours

Hours per Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM

Experience : Minimum of 5 years required

License : Active state license required

Certifications : RRT, AHA ACLS, AHA BLS required

Must-Have : CRT acceptable only with 10+ years of experience

Description :

Position requires coverage of general floor and ICU.

Primarily focuses on adult patients.

Job duties include aerosol therapy, BiPAP, arterial blood gas management, and ventilator management.

Additional responsibilities include high-flow nasal cannula usage, chest physiotherapy, COPD education, and respiratory assessment.

Management of airway and nitric oxide therapy are also required.

Four or more respiratory therapists scheduled per shift.

Scrub color is steel grey.

RT equipment includes Servo I, S, and U, V60, HT-70, ResMed, Optiflow, Volara, and therapy vest.

Weekend expectations are every other weekend.

First to float in staffing rotations.

One major and one minor holiday commitment expected.

Epic access is needed for electronic health records.
