Surgical RN

The RN in Surgical and Outpatient Services functions under the direct supervision of the OR Supervisor and Surgical Physicians. The RN is required to coordinate the intra-operative care of the patient and delegate duties appropriately. The RN may be required to function in the role of Surgical Scrub Nurse, PACU Nurse, Circulating RN, Pre-operative Services, Surgical Outpatient RN or perform duties in Central Sterile / Processing as needed.

Education : Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Experience : Desirable characteristic includes at least one year Nursing Experience and previous Peri-operative or PACU experience.

Licenses / Certificates :   Current Alabama License.  ACLS certification desired within 6 months. BLS certified required within 30 days of hire..
