Aerojet Rocketdyne, a part of L3Harris, is on the lookout for a Quality Engineering Specialist with NDT Level III certifications in RT, DR, UT, and PT to join our team in Canoga Park, California.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and approve supplier-submitted NDT technique sheets for compliance with AR-Los Angeles specifications and drawings. Collaborate with suppliers on developing and gaining approval for these sheets while preparing necessary reports.
• Oversee the site's NDT supply chain by ensuring regulatory compliance among suppliers, auditing current NDT suppliers, and assessing potential new suppliers for their capability to meet site standards.
• Review specifications and in-house technique documents as required.
• Conduct training and testing for Level I and Level II personnel.
• Develop, review, and approve NDT techniques in partnership with Level II staff.
• Draft, review, and ratify specifications related to NDT.
• Assist in ensuring products are inspectable through participation in review boards.
• Prepare NDT processes for internal and customer audits.
• Lead corrective action reviews related to audit findings and non-conformance reports.
• Maintain own NDT Level III certifications.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the NDT department.
• Conduct audits and surveillance of quality systems and processes.

In compliance with pay transparency regulations, the salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $114,000 - $212,000. For applicants in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont, the range is $99,500 - $184,500. This is not a guaranteed salary as the final amount may vary based on experience and location.
