Elections Supervisor
Harris County, Georgia (population 36,000), located in west central Georgia along the Alabama border-approximately 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Columbus-is accepting applications for the position of Elections Supervisor. The County is home to Callaway Resort & Gardens and F.D. Roosevelt State Park, offering exceptional quality of life and strong community spirit.
Under the direction of the Board of Elections, this full-time position is responsible for maintaining accurate voter databases, coordinating all federal, state, and local elections, and ensuring strict compliance with state and federal election laws. Key responsibilities include managing advance and absentee voting, supervising poll workers, maintaining election equipment, processing candidate qualifying documentation, and providing information to the public and media. The position also oversees departmental budgeting, maintains essential election records, and works closely with municipalities and the Secretary of State's Office to support smooth, secure, and transparent election operations.
