In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on designing and delivering Re-entry Vehicles for the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP). As an Engineer, you will work with a diverse workforce responsible for the development, design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of hardware.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain models which simulate mechanical loading conditions and vehicle separation events
• Perform loads development (primary structure and component level)
• Determine vehicle and component shock and vibration environments
• Perform structural dynamic analyses for re-entry vehicles
• Support component and system level testing and data evaluation
• Prepare test plans for static, separation dynamics, vibration, modal and shock test execution, and post-test reports
• Support dynamic test definitions, requirements development, test monitoring, data reduction, and comparison to analysis efforts
