This job is responsible for handling moderately complex operations processes related to credit disputes, escalations, and tax reporting. Key responsibilities include analysis, research, reconciliation, reporting data validation, and resolution of issues and identified customer requests which may carry high levels of risk within enterprise risk categories. Job expectations include handling moderately complex transaction processing, reconciliation, and resolution of research requests to clients, consumer reporting agencies, or taxing authorities, consulting with management for support.
Wealth Management Tax Operations is responsible for multiple tax-related functions to support IRS and state regulatory required tax reporting, withholding payments, and cost basis updates, primarily on behalf of GWIM investment and retirement accounts. The Consolidated Statement team is responsible for the production of ~4,000,000 tax reporting statements. Responsibilities include researching, resolving, and validating the integrity of tax entries and tax income data housed on the tax database. This data is used to produce tax statements and are reported to the IRS and various states. This will include daily / monthly report validation for numerous internal processes. Additionally, the incumbent will assist on the development, testing, and implementation of changes to our tax database in accordance with IRS or state regulations. Weekend / weekday overtime is required when necessary and especially during tax season, January through April. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
