MySQL Database Administrator

Description :

We are seeking a Managing / Senior Principal Consultant to provide expert MySQL database administration and engineering support. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing MySQL solutions, performing database migrations, and ensuring high performance and security across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive MySQL database administration, including installation, configuration, and upgrades (versions 5.x and 8.x).
• Design and develop MySQL stored procedures to support business requirements.
• Lead database migration projects and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Administer user accounts, backups, and table spaces to maintain data integrity and security.
• Monitor server performance and conduct routine health checks, tuning, and optimizations.
• Interpret customer requirements to inform database design, modeling, and migration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, migration processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
