Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a Centrifuge Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility based in Janesville, WI. In this role, you will enhance customer satisfaction by optimizing GEA centrifugal equipment after delivery, support sales initiatives with innovative solutions, and spearhead research and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and enhance processes for assigned GEA Markets with a focus on mechanical separation technology.
Install and commission GEA centrifuge equipment.
Collaborate with sales to create cutting-edge solutions for our customers.
Boost process capability and production volume while upholding quality standards.
Prepare and analyze samples for spin down studies and execute Design of Experiments for product development.
Document data meticulously in detailed reports.
Maintain testing equipment as necessary for job performance.
Develop systems that optimize every phase of the production process, both upstream and downstream of GEA equipment.
Train customers and team members on the proper and safe use of GEA equipment.
Collaborate with Project Engineering to devise cost-effective and efficient project solutions.
Work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
Interpret P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, electrical schematics, and other engineering documentation.
Engage with various GEA markets, predominantly the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries.
Understand process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking.
Apply knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures in machine / system control systems.
Utilize Rockwell Programming software for minor program edits and collaborate with Automation Engineers to support startups.
Exhibit strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Rockwell Programming is a plus.
We provide a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $105,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location considerations.
