Manufacturing Electro Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities :

You will be part of the production and prototyping team and work closely with the engineering team to assemble, test, and build autonomous equipment.

Build electrical and mechanical assemblies from both detailed prototype and production drawings drawing’s

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Proficient in using a wide range of hand and power tools
  • Knowledgeable about safety protocols and compliance with industry standards
  • Perform inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
  • Repair or replace components such as motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement improvements and upgrades to equipment
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic, electrical, assemblies and testing
  • Assist and perform QC on in-house assemblies and update QA documentation
  • Follow manufacturing best practices on automation robotic systems
  • Design, set up and maintain dedicated workstations, tools, manufacturing jigs and tools

Required :

  • 5 plus years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, electronics, and low voltage systems
  • Proficiency with small hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Ability to work with minimal direction while knowing when to ask for input or help
  • Desired :

  • Electrical and electromechanical assembly build-out and testing
  • Experience with machine tools (mill, lathe, etc.)
  • Experience in TIG or MIG welding aluminum
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, motors, sensors, electronics, and other automation components
  • Knowledge Robots and Robotics is a plus
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Proficient in using a wide range of hand and power tools
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement improvements and upgrades to equipment
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and procedures followed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits
  • Proficient in wiring 480VAC cabinets
  • Key words – manufacturing, assembly, OEM, electromechanical, mechanical, electronics, building and testing of equipment, MIG & TIG welding, 480V, PLC’s, robots, robotics, manufacturing, etc.

    This position requires an associate degree. 5 plus years’ related work experience. US Citizenship, Green Card, Perm Resident is required. A generous salary and benefits package. On-site work.
