Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Unit : Medical Observation Unit (MOU) Shift : 4x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025 - End : 2 / 24 / 2026) Hours per Week : 36 Orientation : 24 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York RN license required at time of application Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Previous travel nurse experience required Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Willingness to float to other units as needed Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the Rochester facility Charge nurse experience preferred Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy observation unit Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response / code events Administer blood products, manage central and peripheral lines, and perform non-invasive airway management Complete all charting and documentation using Epic EMR Follow strict isolation precautions and infection control protocols Engage in ongoing learning and adapt to diverse patient care scenarios Experience the best of Rochester, NY healthcare while making a difference as a travel nurse.
