Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state

BLS certification (required prior to first shift)

ACLS certification (required prior to first shift)

Minimum 1 year recent Med / Surg clinical experience (2 years preferred)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and create individualized care plans

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare standards

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge planning, and health management

Supervise and direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ancillary staff

Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff in the medical-surgical unit

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
