 Travel to DOC facilities to assist field techs with project and problem tickets.

 Drive a state vehicle (if they have a valid driving record) or be reimbursed $0.51 / mile

and travel time when using their own vehicle.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE :

The Department of Corrections (DOC) requires Desktop Support staff to maintain a working

knowledge of internal computer systems. The technician will be responsible for repairing and

maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops, and other PC devices.

Key Responsibilities :

 Installing new PCs and laptops to replace end-of-life equipment.

 Maintaining inventory and recycling outdated equipment in accordance with DOC policy.

 Closing work orders in the DOC ticketing system.

 Following procedures under oversight from the Field Tech Manager.
