Job Title : Oracle Fusion Cloud GL & FAH Lead

Location : Montgomery, AL (Hybrid)

Duration : 12 Months (Contract)

Work Type : Hybrid (Onsite as required for client meetings and workshops)

Visa Type : GC / USC only

Note : No H1B for this position and need only local candidates.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Cloud GL & FAH Lead to lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) modules. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise, deep knowledge of Oracle financial systems, and proven leadership capabilities to manage client-facing sessions and deliver strategic financial solutions with minimal supervision.

This role requires a consultant who can work effectively in a hybrid environment, facilitating design discussions, driving COA redesign efforts, and ensuring seamless system integration aligned with business and accounting goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud GL and FAH modules.

Conduct fit-gap analysis, design workshops, and solution presentations with finance and technical stakeholders.

Review, analyze, and redesign Chart of Accounts (COA) to optimize financial reporting and alignment with organizational needs.

Develop and document functional design specifications, configuration guides, and business process documentation.

Configure Oracle Cloud applications according to best practices and client requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and Technical Development for seamless integration and delivery.

Provide expert functional guidance on Oracle GL and FAH modules, including subledger accounting and journal entries.

Perform system testing, validation, and user training during deployment and post-implementation phases.

Recommend process improvements and Oracle Cloud enhancements to streamline financial operations.

Support data migration, reconciliation, and reporting efforts during transition to Oracle Cloud.

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud GL and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) modules.

Strong expertise in Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, configuration, and financial reporting structures.

Proven understanding of accounting principles, subledger integrations, and Oracle financial processes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client-facing workshops independently.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional project teams in Oracle Cloud financial implementations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to Montgomery, AL for client engagement.

Preferred Qualifications :

Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or GL / FAH modules.

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud integration frameworks and reporting tools (OTBI, FRS).

Exposure to multi-ledger and multi-currency environments in Oracle Cloud.

Prior experience working with public sector or government clients.
