Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,764 per week in Hermitage, TN

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Labor & Delivery Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 Hours Experience : Minimum of 2 Years License : Current RN License Certifications : NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS Must-Have : Advanced skills in fetal monitoring Description : The unit has 24 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) beds and 10 NICU beds. Patient ratios are 1 : 1-2 for labor / delivery, 1 : 4 for postpartum, 1 : 4 for well infants, and 1 : 2-3 for NICU. There is a staffing team consisting of RNs, unit coordinators, and patient care technicians. The equipment on the unit includes fetal monitoring systems and Alaris IV pumps. The documentation system used is CPN. Staff are scheduled for 12-hour shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM. Floating between units is not required. Patient experience requirements include proficiency in fetal monitoring, NRP, and ACLS. Procedures performed on the unit include labor management and C-sections. The dress code consists of black and hot pink uniforms. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are provided to all staff.
