We are the downtown Boulder outpost for the daily harvest of our own Black Cat Organic Farm. Position Overview :
Bramble & Hare is seeking an experienced, passionate, and nimble Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excels at creating a warm and memorable guest experience. This role requires a team player who is comfortable wearing many hats—from expertly guiding a guest through our wine list to helping a teammate clear a table during a busy service. You are not just a server; you are a key part of what makes the Bramble & Hare experience so special.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service to every guest, guiding them through our unique prix fixe menu and beverage offerings.
Develop a deep understanding of our food and beverage program, including the ingredients harvested from Black Cat Farm, preparation methods, and the stories behind them.
Confidently execute wine service, offering thoughtful recommendations and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our craft cocktail and spirits list.
Work collaboratively and proactively with all members of the team—kitchen, bar, and front of house—to ensure a smooth and seamless service.
Manage section details, including accurate order-taking, precise timing of courses, and processing payments efficiently.
Assist with all aspects of service as needed, embodying our "all hands on deck" philosophy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate :
Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a full-service, upscale-casual or fine dining environment.
Proven experience and confidence with wine service are required. A strong understanding of major wine varietals, regions, and principles of food and wine pairing is essential.
A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and the farm-to-table ethos.
Knowledge of or a strong interest in organic farming, foraging, and seasonality is a significant plus.
A team-first mentality and a willingness to step in and help wherever needed.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a lively setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with guests authentically.
Must have availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
