We are seeking a hard-working individual to join our team!

Job Description :

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Completes set ups that pass first piece inspection on a variety of cold formed parts.
  • Must perform dimensional inspections per blueprint requirements to ensure part

conformance to blueprint specifications.

  • Correct and suggest corrections in the cold form process, production applications,

    • machinery repair and other related areas with the assistance of the team leader or

    experienced team member.

  • Must be ok with working with Heading Supervisor to ensure coordination of job changes / modifications

    • and to maintain good communication of weekly / monthly goals and objectives.

  • Must utilize IS09001 / IATF16949 procedures relative to cold forming, including; Cold

    • Former Operation Procedure, Cold Form Set Up Instructions and Bin Cleaning

    Procedure and contacts Heading Supervisor with items needing updated

  • Knowledge of how dies / punches, cutter and quill are assembled.
  • Change KO rods, cams and shoes on die side and cams on punch side as instructed by

    • Heading Supervisor.

  • Must be able to understand and utilizes Cold Former Troubleshooting Concentricity- T.I.R / Dropping

    • Blanks / Breaking Punches, procedures.

    EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • Completed manufacturing associate- cold form Level 1 training matrix
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Optional : continue building toolbox, acquiring tools necessary to perform job

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lifting and transferring of a variety of materials weighing up to 40LBS.

    • Schedule : 2nd shift
