Travel Pharmacy Technician Infusion / Oncology

Location : Albany, NY Area

Setting : Cancer Center / Infusion Pharmacy

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Length : 13+ Weeks

License Requirement : NY license NOT required

Certification : PTCB highly preferred

A cancer center network in the Albany, NY area is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician with strong experience in chemo and IV admixture for an urgent 13-week+ contract role.

Schedule :

Monday Friday, daytime hours (approx. 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM)

No weekends

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and pound chemotherapy medications

Follow USP 797 / 800 standards and aseptic technique protocols

Collaborate with pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure safe preparation and delivery of IV medications

Float between infusion pharmacy locations within a 20-mile radius as needed

Requirements :

Previous IV admixture and chemotherapy pounding experience is required

PTCB certification strongly preferred

Must have reliable transportation and be fortable floating between sites

Experience in oncology or infusion center settings is ideal
