Job Description
Job Purpose : Attend to all paperwork and booking of trucks within the shipping and receiving departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Schedule and deploy all LTL and trailer loads for outbound shipments.
- Receive LTL and trailers for inbound shipments.
- Prepare and verify all documents associated with shipments.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve requests and issues.
- Coordinate inbound shipment appointments with Procurement.
- Manage dock assignments for incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Prepare daily tasks for forklift drivers.
- Ensure accuracy of all paperwork generated.
- Maintain and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Assist the Manager and provide backup for other Logistics Clerks as needed.
- Review orders using the relevant system.
- Organize and confirm paperwork before submitting to accounting.
- Monitor inventory movements for accuracy and FIFO (First In, First Out) control.
- Seal or cut seals on trailers in various weather conditions.
- Assist with company-wide and customer-specific stock takes.
- Support audit preparation for the area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Clerk should have :
High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience in pick and pack, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.Proficient in data entry.Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs for shipments.Able to walk, stand, and sit intermittently during the shift.Comfortable using technology including Microsoft Office, MRP systems, copy machines, telephones, RF scanners, tablets, and shipping carrier computer systems.Strong multitasking, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork.Willingness to work overtime, including late shifts or Saturdays.Bilingual skills are a plus.Experience in the food industry is a plus.What's on Offer
