Sylvan Learning Center is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to help and inspire students. We are currently looking for teacher assistants who are able to support students from Pre-K to Grade 12. Sylvan staff will be working with students to ensure they are progressing through academic skills, but also understanding and developling real life skills. This is a scheduled contract position to work Monday-Friday. Positions are available at two locations. Summit Central in Getzville and Summit Creekside in Buffalo. Please indicate on your resume / cover letter the grade level you are most interested in supporting.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Teaching Credential recommended (required for some subjects)
• You must enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring students. (We want you to be happy here!)
• Being punctual is extremely important. You must be local and have reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children, or in a classroom setting and / or working with children / adults with developmental delays / disabilities
