What you will experience in this position :

• Provide engineering design and analysis within assigned project scope of work. This includes circuit loading, functional evaluations, layouts, and engineering drawings. Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control for the engineering scope of work.
• Use advanced software such as NavisWorks, Smart Plant, AutoCAD and our in-house programs TRACERLYNX and PROMAN to optimize our design process.
• Perform various engineering and circuit design tasks within our innovative paperless workflow process.
• Proactively establish customer relationships at appropriate levels and manage client expectations relative to technical execution methodologies, scope, schedule, progress, and technical change management. Impact to the work in own department and occasionally to other areas and functions.
• Identify and communicate proposed solutions to any emerging issues which are likely to impact cost, schedule, quality / design integrity, safety, or interface with construction.
• Develop resolution of problems of limited scope following standard procedures.
• Contribute toward the team environment and shared culture of Chemelex.
• Execute with basic knowledge of standard processes and systems.
• Choose the most appropriate solution.
• Possess a basic understanding of customer priorities.
• Occasionally support projects at site.
