Regional Director of Recreation

Centers Health Care is hiring a Regional Director of Recreation to oversee and enhance activity programs across four skilled nursing facilities located between Bronx, NY, and Buffalo, NY. This role requires a strong leader with proven success in long-term care recreation and the ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities :

Lead and support recreation teams across multiple facilities

Develop engaging, resident-centered activity programs

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards

Mentor and train recreation staff to ensure consistent quality

Extensive travel required between Bronx, NY and Buffalo, NY

Requirements :

Director of Recreation experience in a long-term care setting

Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation or related field (CTRS or ADC preferred)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple locations and teams independently
