Title : Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location : Del Norte, CO
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18 : 00–06 : 30)
Job Responsibilities :
Perform a full range of generalist laboratory testing, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Manual Blood Bank.Process, handle, and accession specimens with accuracy and adherence to laboratory protocols.Collect specimens and perform venipuncture; must be able to draw blood independently.Utilize proper labeling practices to ensure specimen integrity and compliance with quality standards.Conduct pipetting procedures, prepare samples, and perform analytical testing according to established methods.Report test results accurately and promptly to support clinical decision-making.Maintain quality assurance and quality control measures throughout all phases of testing.Work within a hospital clinical laboratory environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.Proficiency in specimen collection, processing, and accessioning.Experience with venipuncture and blood draws.Competence in performing generalist laboratory testing, including Chem, Heme, Coag, and Manual Blood Bank.Ability to uphold laboratory quality standards and follow all safety protocols.Certifications & Licensure :
AMT (American Medical Technologists) certification – preferredASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification – preferredActive Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification / license as required by the state of practice.About HonorVet Technologies
