Compliance Specialist
This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, audit compliance with Federal and State regulations concerning I-9 compliance, DOT Compliance, Health and Safety Compliance, etc., monitoring and inputting data into company systems for the retrieval, and working with Field Management to ensure compliance with set policy and procedures.
Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt
Pay : Competitive, Hourly, $20-$23 / hour based on experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
Onboard new employees, setting a level of expectation for roles and responsibilities for the selected position. This includes all background checks, driving records and Clearinghouse checks, completing I9s through Equifax, and any additional requirements.Work with Field Management to ensure that standard policies and practices are being implemented and help to train Field Management in these areas.Travel to areas within Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia. Company vehicle provided for work travel. All lodging and meals are provided by the company.Maintain driver's training and eligibility records.Work with corporate office for separations and unemployment claims.Conduct safety meetings and trainings as required.Assist safety team with compliance within all departments, including the customers demands for documentation.Minimum Qualifications :
Must be 18 years of age or older.Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish preferred.Strong computer skills with MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)Excellent Communication skills both written and oral; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.Works relatively unsupervised and still performs at a high level.Able to perform general clerical / administrative duties timely.Education & Experience
A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the compliance field, or equivalent.Pre-Screen
Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check.License & Certifications :
Valid driver's license required.Travel Requirements :
Must be able to travel to field locations.Traveling to the field operations and overnight travel. Limited time in Regional Office.Out of state travel, may travel 150 miles per day. Overnight stays per week based on needs of the Field Management Team.Physical Requirements :
