Lead Web Developer – PHP, Vue 3, MySQL, AWS, Taylor, MI

We are looking for a Lead Web Developer to take ownership of web applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and ongoing feature development. This is a Hybrid position with 2-3 days per week onsite.

Lead Web Developer Responsibilities:

– Lead Development and Maintenance: Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of web application systems.
– Full Stack Work: Build, enhance, and optimize applications with PHP (Backend) and Vue/Bootstrap (Front-End).
– Database Management: Maintain and optimize MySQL databases hosted on RDS.
– Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and monitor AWS resources
– Systems Integration: On top of basic systems design we integrate with Shipwise, Enfocus, Adobe and many other systems you may need to learn or integrate with.
– Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and work with our compliance department to maintain standards they are setting.
– Troubleshooting and Bug Fixes: Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
– Documentation: Maintain clear technical documents for systems and processes.

Lead Web Developer Qualifications:

– 5+ years of full stack development experience.
– Proficiency in PHP, Vue 3, and MySQL.
– Solid Knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
– Understanding of Version Control (Git).
– Strong experience building secure, scalable CRUD applications.
– API integration and RESTful services experience.
– Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize codebase.
– Strong organizational and communication skills.
– Familiarity with Security Compliance.

Lead Web Developer Tech Stack:

– Back-end: Vanilla PHP
– Front-end: Vue 3, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
– Database: MySQL, RDS
– Infrastructure: AWS (EC2 – Ubuntu, S3, RDS, Route 53)
– Integrations: FedEx, Shopify, Shipwise, UPS, Enfocus, Adobe, etc.
