Veterinarian

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper animal care. The Veterinarian will work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose conditions.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
• Surgical ability is a plus but not mandatory.
• Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with staff and clients.
• Implement aseptic techniques during surgeries and procedures to prevent infections.
• Provide guidance on animal husbandry practices to pet owners.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians in the care of animals, including handling and restraint techniques.
• Educate pet owners about preventive care, nutrition, and wellness practices.
• Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education.
• Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.
• Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
• Experience with animal handling and care, particularly dogs and other companion animals.
• Familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners.

Pay : $109,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
