Labor and Delivery RN Job Details

Healthcare Setting : Labor and Delivery Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : Nights, 4 x 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7a), every 3rd weekend minimum

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week

Orientation : Up to 16 hours (unpaid)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200 - $2360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New Hampshire RN License (Registered Nurse)

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including circulating in the OR

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Demonstrated patient-centered and patient-valued care behaviors

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work every 3rd weekend as scheduled

Labor and Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, and families throughout the continuum of care

Apply the nursing process : assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia providers, and the healthcare team

Assist in the operating room (OR), including circulating nurse duties

Uphold professional standards in accordance with AWHONN guidelines

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff

Perform additional nursing responsibilities as assigned
