Gilbane is seeking a Quality Control Manager that will manage all QC staff, processes, and activities for data center construction projects. Responsibilities include interfacing in a professional manner with client representatives and subcontractors. Review designs and provide feedback to designers. Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents and manage submittal review and approval status through use of submittal register. Implement the requirements of approved QC Plan, assuring all required records are generated and managed. Identify deficiencies and non-conformances, prepare documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions. Stop work if necessary to resolve non-compliant work or matters that negatively affect safety. Coordinate and document commissioning and formal completion inspections. Manage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documents. Trains direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks. Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards. Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members.
