American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of pediatric acute care experience and current licensure to join an acute setting team utilizing Epic EMR.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care occupational therapy department with a Level 2 trauma environmentPatient caseload includes individuals of all ages with functional, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral impairmentsExperience with pediatric patients requiredWork schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am to 5pm, with occasional weekend coverage every 4-6 weeksElectronic charting is completed using Epic EMREvaluate and design treatment plans to help clients regain or maintain the ability to perform daily tasksConduct assessments for physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and develop personalized therapy goalsProvide education to patients and families to support functional outcomesDocument according to departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirementsMay supervise assistants, aides, or students as neededOrientation is provided by experienced OT and PT colleagues with manager supportMust wear grey scrubs or business casual attire while on dutyMust badge in and out at the facilityNot accepting candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facilityApplicants who previously worked at the facility must have at least a 6-month gap since their last employment\n \n Requirements\n
