Mental Health Technician
Full Time, Non-Exempt (Monday to Friday, 8 : 30-2 : 30pm)
Location : Cherry Hill, NJ
Compensation Range : $21-22.00 / per hour
Reports to : Transitions Program Supervisor
Position Summary :
Mental Health Technicians play a vital role as integral members of the students' care team, offering direct support to those facing mental illness, emotional distress, or behavioral challenges hindering academic success. Services are provided within the school setting.
Our Transitions program is for students in grades 9-12 who are unable to attend public school due to anxiety, depression, or other mental challenges. We offer a small group, center-based, home instruction program that includes individual and group counseling alongside an academic curriculum, designed to transition students back to school successfully. Our team is passionate, diverse, and dynamic, known for our collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to high-quality, evidence-based practice.
