Job Summary :

HCA FL Aventura Hospital is looking for a FT Nocturnist- Emergency Medicine Physician   to join this premier practice in South Florida including its New Free-Standing Emergency Department that opened within the past year. To complement this excellent clinical  opportunity the Department of Emergency Medicine offers the opportunity for a faculty appointment at the  Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine  in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the rank / title of assistant professor or higher, depending on qualifications. Aventura is only 15 miles to Miami!

• This Level II Trauma Center treats over 60,000 patients annually at the Main Campus
• 40% admission rate
• Physician coverage allowing for a comfortable PPH of 2.16
• 24-hour in-house Trauma, Intensivist, Anesthesia, and Hospitalist coverage
• EMR is Meditech Pdoc with M-Modal
• GME Programs in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, Radiology, Transitional Year and Podiatry

Requirements :   MD or DO. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited or acceptable equivalent post graduate training program in Emergency Medicine  (ABEM / AOBEM).
