Ligori & Ligori is seeking an experienced attorney in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Litigation to join our powerhouse team in Tampa.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record litigating complex medical negligence and nursing home abuse cases . This role is best suited for a driven litigator with excellent case strategy, trial advocacy, and client communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Base / Draw Pay : $100,000 annually.
  • Commission : Performance-based (earning potential $400K+).

(Full commission structure discussed during interview — top earnings require commitment and results.).

  • Life Insurance : $100,000 policy fully paid by the firm.
  • Paid Time Off :

    • 1 week after 6 months.

  • 2 weeks after 1 year.
  • 3 weeks after 2 years.
  • 6 personal / sick days + 6 federal holidays annually.
  • Health Coverage :

    • 4 plan options (including HSA).

  • 100% firm-paid health, dental & vision (basic plan).
  • Coverage begins on the 1st of the month after 30 days.

    • Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence cases.
  • Proven trial experience with mastery of the Florida Evidence Code and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Strong experience in expert witness workups, medical record review, depositions, and trial prep.
  • Skilled in negotiating with defense counsel and presenting compelling cases to juries.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred.
  • J.D. and active Florida Bar membership in good standing required.
