Job Description

Trident Consulting is seeking a " Manufacturing Technician 2” for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title : Manufacturing Technician 2

Location : St. Louis, MO 63118

Work Arrangement : 100% On-site

Contract Type : Temp-to-perm potential

Shift & Schedule : 1st shift (07.00 – 15.30), Mon to Fri

Pay rate : $27 / he - $30 / he per hour on W2 (Without Benefits)

Training Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Type of Hire : Contract

Contract Duration : 10+ Months

Key Requirements

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or some college preferred)
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or related environment

Technical Skills :

o SAP system experience (required)

o Aseptic technique experience (required)

o Osmometer or pipetting experience (preferred)

Other Requirements :

o Timeliness and punctuality are essential

o Stable job history (no job hopping)

o Must wear steel-toed shoes

Core Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate processing equipment : Filter Integrity Testing, Watson Marlow Pumps, Autoclaves, and Bag Line systems.
  • Conduct product preparation, hand-filling, aseptic gowning, and qualification.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment and suites post-production.
  • Deliver finished products to Warehouse using a motorized pallet jack.
  • Execute batch records in SAP; ensure all documentation and logbooks are accurate.
  • Manage waste disposal and compliance documentation.
  • Perform in-process assays and technically challenging product setups.
  • Ensure safety, labeling, and PPE standards are met at all times.
  • Support Manufacturing Technician 1 team members and report deviations promptly.

    • Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Requires respirator use and standard physical exam.
  • Must be able to lift over 20 lbs.
  • Exposure to chemicals and substances requiring PPE.
  • No exposure to blood products, viruses, or animal handling.
  • No forklift or laser operation required.

    • Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Technical Knowledge : Basic chemistry, mathematics, and general science understanding.
  • Soft Skills :

    • o Strong communication (oral / written)

    o Organized and detail-oriented

    o Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting capability

  • Work Ethic : Reliable, consistent attendance, demonstrates accountability and teamwork.
