Reports to : Food & Beverage Managers

Job Summary :

Food and Beverage Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving drinks to The Betsy guests. Bartenders must be able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with guest needs and expectations. Bartenders interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience at any of The Betsy’s bars.

Responsibilities and Duties Include but Not Limited to the Following :

• Maintains positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Interacts with customers, takes orders for drinks and offers clean menus. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
• Assesses guest needs and preferences and makes recommendations utilizing The Betsy upselling strategy. Serves customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

Checks identification of the guests to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol products.
