Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and school settings to serve students from Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position, located in Detroit, MI, allows you to apply your expertise in speech and language therapy within a K-12 educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across K-12 grades
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in meetings and professional development related to student services
