Revenue Accountant
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected energy client for a Revenue Accountant role based in Austin, TX. This is a high-impact, in-office opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to grow within the energy or midstream sector.

Key Responsibilities
Apply ASC 606 to customer contracts and maintain contract summaries
Prepare and manage annual maintenance and reimbursable invoices
Lead and review monthly revenue accruals across multiple projects
Conduct price-volume and fluctuation analysis by asset
Maintain deferred revenue schedules and perform timely reconciliations
Manage monthly and annual close processes for income statement and balance sheet
Review balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger entries
Assist with technical accounting memorandums and audit documentation
Contribute to special projects as assigned
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
3–5 years of relevant experience , ideally within energy, oil & gas, or midstream industries
Strong understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience with ASC 606
Analytical mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Quorum and / or NetSuite preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
CPA or CPA-eligible

This is an in-office role located in Austin, TX. The selected candidate will be eligible for employer-matched 401(k), medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D insurance, and other benefit offerings.
Pay Details : $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
