Transportation Coordinator

Summary

MITER Brands is looking for an experienced team member who can support the functions of our Transportation and Logistics / Supply Chain Group. The position will support various departments, not only in Supply Chain, but within EHS, Finance and others. Compensation is dependent on education and experience. MITER is a leading manufacturer of fenestration products in the United States with operations in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, California, and Florida.

Responsibilities

Manage enterprise-wide vehicle programs, including coordination with providers such as Holman, Enterprise, Ryder, and Penske.

• Prepare reports for tax compliance purposes, including IFTA-related documentation, using data supplied by the 3PL provider.
• Ensure accurate tracking of vehicle mileage and other key metrics across the fleet.
• Support the setup and maintenance of customer delivery parameters within the MITER Brands ERP systems.
• Assist the Finance team with document preparation and information gathering for audits or reporting purposes.
• Administer all vehicle registrations and coordinate with the DMV for renewals, updates, and compliance; monitor MVRs (Motor Vehicle Records) for applicable team members.
• Assist with the oversight of insurance reporting and maintain documentation for accident investigations and related incidents.
• Manage toll and fuel programs for internal sales and service teams as needed
• Act as Power of Attorney (POA) and Notary when required and authorized.
• Serve as a liaison with the legal team to address enterprise-wide insurance and accident-related issues.
• Support Finance with the fixed asset register, including leased road vehicles and material handling equipment.
