Field Coordinator

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an individual to serve as a Field Coordinator on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Duties include all aspects of construction inspection and coordination of construction activities. The primary function in this position is to serve as resident project representative (RPR) and assist in the management of contractor’s work to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Once projects are in construction, the candidate will support project managers by providing general oversight during the construction of projects.

Candidate must be able to review construction work onsite to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Facilitate coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations. Assists with construction administration documentation : RFI’s, field orders, claims, submittal / schedule review, meetings, payment applications, etc.

Responsibilities to include :

• Resident Project Representative completing daily reports and coordinating construction activities.
• Has a firm grasp of all technical disciplines, water treatment and conveyance.
• Communicate clearly and concisely through technical writing.
• Walking / traversing across the project site(s).
