Job descriptionProvide anesthesia coverage (depending on subspecialty) in the following areas : A mixture of supervising residents and doing own cases ASA Board Certification or Eligibility Current ACLS, BLS, PALS Active CA license prior to start date. Interest in teaching and residency education 1099 Independent Contractor status $280-$290 / hour rate for hours worked in the Operating Room Up to $690k annually Potential to earn more by covering additional shifts. Up to $50k sign on bonus with 3-year full-time retention. Up to $100k loan repayment with a 4-year full time retention Additional compensation through the GME office for Core Faculty activities and responsibilities All compensation subject to market rate adjustment on an annual basis

Opportunity
The Department of Anesthesia at Kaweah Health is currently recruiting for exceptional General Anesthesiologists to join its cohesive, exceptional, and innovative care team . The candidate will join a group of 12 anesthesiologists and over 20 CRNAs. Additionally, the candidate will be working with our ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program of 16 residents.

o Ophthalmological Surgery

o Otolaryngological Surgery
o Plastic Surgery
o Urological Surgery
o Neurological Surgery
o Trauma Surgery
o Labor and Delivery Anesthesia
10-hour shifts on non-call days
An average of one 24-hour out-of-house call per week with resident physician
Post-call day off
