Job description? Conduct onboarding and orientation for new team members using the company's ? Represent the General Manager in meetings, training sessions, and promotional ? Demonstrate commitment to WKS Values : Integrity, Loyalty, Winning, Service, and ? Enforce uniform and grooming standards and ensure compliance with workplace ? Promptly report claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour ? Assist the General Manager with food ordering, scheduling, and inventory control. ? Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures, including security protocols. ? Ensure compliance with daily walk-throughs and Wendy's Critical Checklist. ? Conduct internal self-assessments using company tools (TrueView) and ensure ? Complete weekly inventory counts and reporting when required or when serving ? Cover workstations and assist during breaks as needed. ? Ensure high levels of customer service and speed of service metrics are achieved ? Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner using company ? Support the General Manager in achieving financial targets, including sales and ? Assist with cash handling, smart safe, and POS systems (SBO.net). ? Manage cash registers, phone calls, orders, and company funds. Conduct safe ? Reaching, carrying, writing, bending, stooping, grasping, standing, climbing, ? Sweeping, lifting, pushing / pulling. ? Using the telephone, computers, and restaurant technology. ? Handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with Wendy's Total Restaurant ? Driving occasionally if business needs require travel. ? Standing and walking for long periods. ? Communicating with customers and co-workers. ? Lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance. ? Physical activity may be sporadic. ? Periodic travel to meetings or nearby store locations may be required. ? Exposure to heat, burn hazards, wet surfaces, and cleaning chemicals. ? Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor conditions. ? Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting. ? Must be at least 18 years of age. ? High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in ? Excellent leadership and communication skills. ? Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. ? Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ? Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. ? Knowledge of health and safety regulations as required by Wendy's International, ? ServSafe certification required. ? Proficiency with cash handling, smart safe, and POS systems (SBO.net). ? Comfortable with email and company technology platforms (WKSConnect, ? Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. ? Access to reliable transportation to report to scheduled shifts, trainings, and ? Willingness to work at nearby store locations within the district as needed, based
Pay Range : $20.00 – $26.00
Listed wages are based on company-wide ranges. Actual earnings will vary based on factors such as : restaurant brand, experience, education, geography, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked & potential overtime pay.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing
daily restaurant operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining food safety
standards, and fostering a clean and positive work environment. This position is an
important step toward assuming the responsibilities of a General Manager.
