Our client, a prominent leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking a Food and Beverage Payroll specialist to join their team. As a Food and Beverage Payroll professional, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the Food and Beverage Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Payroll Specialist
Location : New York, NY
Pay Range : $30 - $35 / hr
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, with overtime and occasional weekend shifts
What's the Job?
Prepare daily and weekly payroll for servers, captains, banquet staff, stewards, culinary, banquet housemen, and managers using Evention & payroll software.
Maintain accurate time and attendance records, update employee files, and process Personnel Action Forms as needed.
Coordinate staff schedules, distribute assignments, and handle all communication related to payroll and staffing.
Assist with billing processes, including entering billing information and processing checks in Micros system.
Support event coordination by creating diagrams, distributing event order sheets, and liaising with internal and external vendors.
What's Needed?
Minimum of three years' experience in processing payroll for large teams, preferably in a hospitality or union environment.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Windows, Delphi, Micros, and Evention.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and management.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
