Job Duties : \n \n

  • Positively interact with all guests and provide exceptional guest service

\n

  • Prepare large quantities of food for multiple picnics at a time

    • \n

  • Use of individual size smoker, ovens, stoves, walk-in freezer / refrigerator, fryers and grills to prepare food

    • \n

  • Set up for events by preparing the buffet line, drink stations, dessert stations and may be needed to set up table cloths and / or grove decorations for events

    • \n

  • Ensure the buffet line is stocked during events including back-up stock for ease of transfer

    • \n

  • Ensure guests are being provided with food and beverage items of the highest quality

    • \n

  • Follow proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with all Health Department and Food Service Department policies regarding sanitation per department training

    • \n

  • Continually monitor the cleanliness within the assigned area / unit

    • \n

  • Must follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all times

    • \n

  • Other duties as assigned by Unit or Fulltime Management

    • \n \n

    Minimum Requirements :

    \n \n

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

    • \n

  • Must be willing to work weekends, Holidays, days / evenings and weekdays when needed for operation

    • \n

  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs without assistance and 50lbs with assistance

    • \n

  • Must be willing and able to clean using chemicals after training and with proper personal protective equipment

    • \n

  • Must be able to stand, kneel and squat for extended periods up to 8 hours

    • \n

  • Must successfully obtain a state required Food Handler's card

    • \n

  • Must be able and willing to meet all Six Flags Entertainment Grooming Standards daily

    • \n \n

    Working Conditions : \n \n

  • Indoors in artificial lighting, including but not limited to near cook tops and fryers, grills, smokers, industrial size sinks and in walk in refrigerators / freezers

    • \n

  • Outdoors in all weather conditions including but not limited to direct sunlight, hot / cold weather, rain, fog and both during the day and night

    • \n

  • Picnic groves are outdoor venues with minimal overhead cover
