Product Owner

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals
• Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application / system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
• Awareness of development and testing practices in the industry
• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement / story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Work closely with lead developers to implement Python / ETL application architectures and designs
• Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
• Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements
• Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story / requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues / errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Liaise with business users on various enhancement requests and production issues
