Licensed Insurance Representative

Your Responsibilities
As a Licensed Insurance Representative, your main responsibility is to find innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns. This includes handling and carefully responding to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service through active listening, working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, patient, empathetic, and understanding, appropriately communicating with customers, exercising retention efforts if needed, identifying customers who are comparison-shopping and inquiring about contract terms, assisting the customer with the correct price plan, and compassionately handling sensitive situations surrounding healthcare needs, education, and prevention planning.

Qualifications include possessing an active home state Property & Casualty License, a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, being 18 years of age or older, ability to type at least 25 words per minute, comfortable with desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems, customer service and / or sales experience preferred, and a college degree preferred but not required.
