About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on selling innovative solutions, driving Acne Expert productivity, and reviewing revenue performance to optimize business growth. You will play a key role in driving assortment decisions, maximizing product usage occasions, and ensuring the effective implementation of educational initiatives that support brand and protocol knowledge.
The successful candidate will nurture strong relationships with Acne Experts, develop tailored sales strategies, and identify opportunities to grow revenue and enhance product utilization. This position involves calling on Acne Experts within a dedicated territory, following a structured call coverage schedule, and delivering exceptional customer service. As an Associate Account Manager, you will review performance metrics, provide insights on assortment strategies, and collaborate with Acne Experts to improve their business outcomes.
The role requires a proactive, closer mentality to achieve results, while representing the company professionally. This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Client Relationship Management :
Engage Acne Experts within your territory to drive innovation adoption, build relationships, and uncover new business opportunities for revenue growth.Cultivate strong ties with key stakeholders, including skincare professionals (physicians, nurses, spa managers, estheticians), and other support staff.Address customer issues by investigating concerns, providing solutions, and collaborating with management, Business Development, and Customer Success teams to ensure positive outcomes.Partner with the Account Management, School Partnerships, and Education teams to engage emerging professionals and foster long-term brand loyalty.
Sales Generation :
Analyze sales trends to identify growth opportunities, emerging market trends, and areas to optimize call activity.Provide internal teams with insights on market needs, customer preferences, and product opportunities to refine sales and marketing strategies.Use data to recommend new SKUs, services, and business opportunities that align with customer demand.
Sales Strategies :
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs to drive revenue growth and brand success.Track account activities, business conditions, marketing efforts, and competitor information through reporting systems.Identify opportunities to enhance product usage and increase sell-through productivity by boosting account engagement.Re-engage underperforming accounts by addressing purchasing declines and developing strategies to win them back.Execute an efficient call cycle based on territory tiering to maximize results and resource use.
Admin :
Submit receipts, invoices, and expenses to Finance promptly and in compliance with company policies.Comittment to leverage sales tools (crm, ringcentral, etc)Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospects, showcasing brand value and new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.Current Esthetician license (preferred).2+ years' experience in sales and business development, preferably in aesthetic, medical or beauty industryCustomer first mindsetSkilled presenter, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, timely and businesslike mannerStrong business acumen and territory management experienceResilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking abilitiesExperience using CRM tools (e.g. ZoHo)Manage expenses within fiscal guidelines and policiesDemonstrable presentation, selling and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 poundsExperience in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
