Our Professional Services team has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual, and we are looking for an Application Consultant that is passionate about providing implementation services for our customers. It is mission-critical for the Application Consultant to be a leader and champion that will act as a conduit between management, the Professional Services team, key customers, and third-party vendors. This role will provide training to Harris SmartFusion customers via remote and onsite delivery methods. Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, the Application Consultant will collaborate with SmartFusion customers locatedmainly throughout the south and southeast portion of the United States to collect business requirements, configure software, and deliver training for our Integrative products.This is a remote (work from home) position with a work schedule based on the Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone.
What You Will Be Doing :
Define and document customers' business requirements; interpret and apply the information within the scope of the project
Develop project documentation, testing cases, and other documentation during and after building on implementation tasks (as needed)
Understand customers' business processes and configure the software using workflow and business practices
Train end-users in how to use the software in both remote and classroom-led sessions
Become an expert on the functionality and capabilities of the software, making enhancement requests to our product development team when appropriate
Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues throughout the implementation process
Work with cross-functional team members; including Project Managers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support Analysts
Participate in data conversion and customer software installs as needed.
What We Are Looking For :
3+ years consulting with customers and working on multiple enterprise or software implementation projects concurrently
Good working knowledge of issue tracking software, such as JIRA and Team Support
Strong technical and communication skills, as well as ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Possess aunderstanding of all activities associated with software system implementations
Capacity to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, and communication skills
Willingness to travel for customer meetings (50-75%)
What Will Make You Stand Out :
Good understanding and experience in customer service, training, and IT support background
Working knowledge of SmartFusion product (strongly preferred)
experience with SQL scripts and commands to make database changes (strongly preferred)
Knowledge of accounting principles (preferred)
Experience working in a PMO (preferred, but not required)
