The primary responsibilities of this position would include :

• Financial statement preparation and review
• Monitor and manage the daily operation of the accounting department including GL management, AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• Oversight of the annual budget and forecasting
• Managing an accounting staff; ensuring proper training and development
• Coordinates the annual audit; working with independent auditors and managing documentation and controls
• Developing internal controls, process improvements, and general guidelines for the accounting department
• Special projects as needed
