We are currently seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Receiver, Exciter, and Back End Processing (REBEP) Department. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your strong background in digital / analog hardware and subsystem design to support the development of the next generation of Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter subsystems.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Circuit Card Assemblies and your analytical skills to design innovative products for applications in signal processing, command, and control.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Circuit and sub-system architecture, design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
  • Integration and testing at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
  • Provide support during the transition to production and assist manufacturing and test engineers.
  • Occasional travel to suppliers, integration, and customer sites may be required.
  • Manage small projects or processes within your area of responsibility.
  • This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site with locations available in Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas :
  • Digital Design (from requirements development to Build and Test)
  • Production Testing
  • Design simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice) and analytical tools (e.g., Matlab)
  • Design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics' Xpedition schematic capture and layout)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience testing Digital to Analog Converters (D / A) and Analog to Digital Converters (A / D).
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces such as JESD204B, Memory (DDR3, DDR4), SERDES, 10G+ Ethernet, Fiber Channel.
  • Background in FPGA hardware inference designs including SERDES, LVDS chip-to-chip and board-to-board.
  • Understanding of requirements allocation and flow-down from system to component level.
  • Knowledge of cost estimating, along with budget and schedule management.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), and spectrum analyzer for testing and verification.
  • Prior experience in a production environment.
  • Strong skills in technical writing, proposal writing, and delivering presentations.
  • Active / Existing Secret U.S. Security Clearance is a plus.
