Job descriptionPay : 57–65 cents per mile (experience‑based). Typical weekly average : $1,350. Home time : Daily. Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Complete thorough pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; promptly report defects and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate hours‑of‑service records and electronic logging device (ELD) entries. Follow cargo securement and no‑touch handling procedures. Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and maintenance personnel. Apply fuel management, routing, and on‑road safety best practices to maximize efficiency and safety. Valid Class A CDL (CDL‑A) . Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass required drug screening. No safety termination from most recent trucking job. Minimum of 3 months of SOLO CDL‑A tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last 12 months. (training is not considered experience) Late‑model, automatic tractors (company provided).
