• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Must adhere to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities
• Plan and deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department setting
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Hold shift accountability for patient care delivery
